I can't believe that the month is almost gone, so much to do so little time. It doesn't feel like we've done a ton, it's just gone by to fast.
Christy, Robert, Russell, and Amber moved into their new homes the beginning of this month. It was exciting to see all that they had accomplished. I know that they are enjoying being in their homes. Christy and Robert even got a new kitten to celebrate. Russell and Amber were finally able to bring Trapper into their home.
Then we had a birthday celebration with my family on the first Sunday to celebrate all the June birthdays. This month you have Christy, Amber, and My Birthday. So my Mom cooked the meal and then the husbands were in charge of the cake and ice cream. It was fun to see the guys work together.
We went to Pirate Island with Adams family. It was really fun to have everyone there, it has been awhile since we were all together. The kids loved to listen to the music, they were doing Karaoke that night. They also had fun playing together on the pirate ship. The family remembered it was my birthday the next day, so they tried to have the pirates sing to me. But because of the Karaoke they weren't able to. It was a fun night to spend with the family.
Adam was so kind to me this year for my birthday, he totally surprised me. He arranged to have Emilee go to Ryan and Kristienas to spend the night. While he whisked me away to Salt Lake for a night. The day of my birthday we went shopping and Emilee picked out a Cricut cartridge for me to have. We went to lunch and then we went to the Sweet Tooth Fairy for a cupcake. To my surprise (and a nice coincidence) they had made my favorite cupcake that day, Key Lime. Adam actually bought four of them, I was able to have one a day for the next few days yummy. After we dropped Emilee off, which was hard, we went shopping a little more, bought a new shirt, then we went to dinner. It was nice going to dinner and being just the two of us. I didn't have to worry if Emilee was eating, or unhappy, so nice. That was how wonderful my birthday was. So Nice.
Adam had to work this year for fathers day, which was sad. So I made him the dinner of his choice, which was Manicotti. I decided to go all out for his dinner, we had an appetiser, a salad, garlic bread, Manicotti and dessert. After dinner he opened his presents, I gave him a LED flashlight that he had wanted, and the batteries to go with it. Emilee gave him a little lego set, and some tools. He seemed excited for his gifts. We went to visit both of our Dads, it was nice to spend some time with them even though it wasn't a lot of time. We love to visit family and to just spend time with them.
This Sunday we went to visit Russell and Amber, they had cooked dinner for the Family. It was nice of them to cook us dinner in their home. It was fun to spend the time with the family.
Princess Party
Kristiena, Ryan and Maylee had a princess party for the 3 little girl cousins. Emilee was so excited to go to a party. She was excited to tell me all about the party when I picked her up, she had so much fun!! Thank you Kristiena and Ryan for throwing such a fun party!!!
You Decide
When Babies are born a lot of people wonder which parent the baby looks like. We never decided who Emilee looked like when she was born, but as she has gotten older people still wonder who she looks like......so you decide.
This is a recent picture of Emilee, shes 3 years old.

This is a picture of me (Jenny) when I was about 3 years old.
Now that you have seen a very limited sampling of us as children, you can decide who you think Emilee looks like. Based on what we have seen as Emilee has grown up we have already made up our minds. It will be interesting to know what (who) everyone else sees when they look at Emilee.
Our Reward
Curtis Graduation
Curtis graduated from USU (Utah State University) last Saturday. We decided to go to Logan to support him during this time of celebration. We arrived while the rest of the family was in the first Ceremony, the one for all of the graduates. While they were in the ceremony we went to the zoo and the park. All of the animals were awake, it was early in the day, Emilee even made a friend. Emilee loved playing on the swings and the slide. After the ceremony we met the family at Aggie ice cream. It was nice to eat ice cream with the family, relaxing and talking. Unfortunately I was not prepared and my battery died right before the second ceremony, the one for the specific programs. So I have pictures of us waiting, but none of the actually event. We are so proud of Curtis for getting his degree. We had fun celebrating with him and the family. It was a nice way to spend a Saturday. Congratulations Curtis!!!!
Hair Clips Organizer
I've been trying to solve the problem of Emilees hair accessories for awhile now. Her bows, flowers, clips, etc. have been all over the house. I can never find what I am looking for at the time, and they end up damaged. I decided to search for a solution. I found a lot that I thought would be cute then I came upon this idea and loved it. I knew that it would be easy and cheap, I only had to buy the canvas, I had everything else. I love the way it turned out, it's cute and fun. This is what it looked like when I finished.

This is what it looks like with the bows that I can find at the moment. Now comes the fun part of finding all of the accessories that are lost. I also have the desire to buy more bows now that I have a place to store them (all in good time).
Easter
Emilee and I were sad that Adam had to work on Easter and couldn't share the day with us this year. We still had a really nice day, not only was it Easter it was General Conference. Emilee and I woke up early and went to my parents home to enjoy the family favorite tradition of homemade Cinnamon Rolls while watching the first Sunday session of Conference. It was nice the whole family was together, except Adam. Emilee enjoyed having her cousins to play with.

After the first session we had our Family Easter egg hunt for the kids. They had so much fun finding all of the eggs their Aunts and Uncles hid for them. When the Easter egg hunt was over, we listened to the second session of Conference. Russell, Amber, Christy, and Robert had to leave after the second session to spend time with the rest of their families.
Brittany, Curtis, and Emilee went outside to play. Curtis had some chalk in his car, so they created art on the sidewalk. Emilee had tons of fun playing outside with her Aunt and Uncle. We enjoyed a nice Easter Dinner, Thanks Mom and Dad, then just relaxed and enjoyed each others company. Adam was finally able to join us after dinner, it was nice having him there. We went to his parents house a little later to spend some time with his family. Everyone was there when we arrived. We sat down and watched family videos for a couple of hours while the kids played together. It was a wonderful Easter.
